GrowGood

GrowGood is a nonprofit employment social enterprise based in Southeast Los Angeles. Since 2011, GrowGood has been working at the intersection of food justice, environmental sustainability, holistic wellness, and job readiness by using urban agriculture to provide access to high-quality produce, jobs, skills training, and nature-based mindfulness programs.

GrowGood operates a regenerative 1.5-acre farm adjacent to The Bell Shelter, which is one of the largest homeless shelters in the US.

The GrowGood Farm features a ½-acre of vegetable crops, an orchard with 70 fruit trees, an herb and flower garden, a commercial greenhouse, and community gathering spaces. We have three core program areas that fully utilize the farm as a space for food, healing, and workforce development.

Our unique approach provides solutions to homelessness by integrating urban agriculture with homeless services, and we have three core program areas that fully utilize the farm as a space for food, healing, and workforce development.
